Corbin Education Center, Wichita State University, Wichita, KS

Another stitched photo that is slightly distorted.  Kind of cool at night though.

The Corbin Education Center on the campus of Wichita State University was designed by Wright in 1957.  Though the interior of the building is not particularly remarkable, the external patios and terraces are remarkable.  The light towers that come out of each of the main patios are beautiful at night and make the building a truly remarkable example of Wright's later work.

By day the blue molding looks great beneath the Kansas sky.

The balcony and spire.

The patters of the metal work make interesting shadows.

The front of the building doesn't show off much of the beauty that you see from the courtyard.

Half of the building.

Night photo of the spire.
