Kentuck Knob: Chalk Hill, Pennsylvania, June 2001
Early Summer at Kentuck Knob looks completely different from when we were here in February. John and I got there very early on a rainy Saturday morning and we had a private in-depth tour. Mary showed us the whole place from top to bottom (including the rarely seen basement). We spent 90 minutes in the house. It was almost perfect and quite a contrast from when we were here in February.

The home from the meadow below. Can you imagine the view?

The kitchen patio from above the home.

Prow from below.

Another view from the pointy end.

Windows in the carport.

Porch looking towards the dining room. Notice the wet spots below the skylights.

Porch looking over the prow.

The tour guide laughed at me as I lay on my back in a puddle to take this photo.

Lamp at the opening of the carport.

John (on the right) and I posing with "the tile".

It is amazing how many interesting places that my tattoo gets us into. Tour guides know that we're pretty hard core Wright fans when they see the ink. It looks good next to the tile.
