One of the features of Laird's races is this huge steel bridge that he had built years ago. Most race courses have a section where you have to cross a road. Instead of disruping traffic, Laird sets up the courses so that the road is right at the start/finish and puts this bridge over it. It is a lot of fun, but there were more than a few people who crashed on it.
