The Northern Neck of Virginia is the area between the Potomac and Rappahannock Rivers. It is a 70-mile long peninsula east of Fredericksburg, Virginia. The photos above are of the bridge that crosses the Potomac from Maryland. The land is an interesting mix of farm land, historic landmarks and recreation areas. We've visited many sites on the northern neck.
